Venting and windows
No hose and no drilling: the indoor and outdoor units connect through a flat line about 2.7 cm thick, and the window or balcony door closes onto it. That makes this layout the easiest fit for tilt-and-turn windows, fixed glazing next to an opening, and rentals where nothing may be drilled.

What stands out
- The same A++ (SEER 6.1) mobile-split efficiency and ~38 dB(A) silent mode as the flagship, sized for rooms up to 28 m²
- Cooling only, so it costs less than the heat-pump PortaSplit
- Outdoor unit keeps the noise and waste heat outside; iF Design Award 2024
How it differs from the flagship
The Cool keeps the two-box layout, the no-drill 2.7 cm window line and the A++ (SEER 6.1) cooling class, and gives up the heat-pump mode and a third of the capacity: 8,000 BTU (2.35 kW) against 12,000 BTU (3.5 kW). For a bedroom or office up to about 28 m² that trade is usually free, because the smaller compressor also idles more quietly.
In June 2026 it listed from €699 on Geizhals, and Lidl sells it at €599 from 15 June 2026. The shell won an iF Design Award in 2024.
